Community Health
Our Community Health programmes prepare students for roles in community-based healthcare and health services.
Programmes include:
Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) — Levels 100–300; 3-year programme
Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW) — Levels 100–200; 2-year programme
Students are introduced to relevant knowledge and practical skills that support community health services, health promotion and preventive healthcare.
Environmental Health
Environmental health plays an important role in protecting individuals and communities from environmental factors that can affect health.
Our Environmental Health area provides training in areas related to environmental sanitation, hygiene, health protection and professional environmental health practice.

Pharmacy Technician
